GSM (2G) Network Update

The decommission of the GSM/GPRS network will occur on June 7, 2021. Between January 1, 2019 and June 7, 2021, we will endeavour to maintain the network to the best of our ability. However, as GSM/GPRS spare parts may no longer be produced, we are unable to guarantee that all network repairs will be carried out successfully. We do not expect this to have any significant impact. However access to the Good2GO GSM/GPRS network from January 1st 2019 onwards will be provided without warranty to all our customers.

What will happen to my 2G cellular only devices after June 7, 2021?
GSM (2G) devices will no longer function. Your good2GO number will remain active until your service expiry date. We recommend you upgrade your device prior to this date to ensure uninterrupted service.
